Song writer-- Elias Fiore

Hi guys

This is one of  Elias' Songs in his CD album called ' Selian's Daydream.

He is a pop song writer with his own unique, intensitive and emotional style; also he is a guitarist with over 18 years experiences of performances.  His faviourite things are not only song writing and live playing, but also create new ideas into his songs and improvise lots of difference things so naturally in his playing.

I am a classical violinist, over 16 years of professional performing experience. Now we are trying combined two instruments together and achive a new stage, a new concept and a new element of pop songs.  Another new 'home album' is coming soon, only accompained his songs by guitar and violin. We gonna only record the songs at home.  Also we are looking for some places to play, to share our music to all of you.

If you are interested in our music, please support us and contact us, give us some advise!

Thanks a lot!

Happy New Year!

My first New Year conclusion is:

Life has taught us that love does not consist in gazing at each other but in looking outward together in the same direction.

I miss Shanghai

Everybody said they wanna visit Shanghai, visit China one day. Yea, why not? Its a very morden and beautiful city, you will love the food there. I know there is a China Town in London, but sorry everybody, I am gonna disappointing you because the chinese food there is almost the same! I mean my dad is a really cook, his dream is to have his own restaurant.  He always make a lot of different Cantonese food or Shanghainese food everyday and even invents the new things.  I can say that everybody loves his cooking and I am sure if he works in London, he gonna be famous one day.  Unfortunately, I never had the food here as nice as my dad did, even my western friends were surprised I said that.  But what can I do now? The only thing i can do is think about my daddy's  food and dream of them; then back to the reality, go and cook my pasta!

My Poem-- Stars (high school)

Stars

Twinkle , Twinkle , twinkle

Little small stars

Encased in the sky

Glinting in our mind

Make some wishes

Bring some romance

Every clear night

Smile at us

Dot the universe

Sparkle in every corner

Beauty in our eyes

Eternal in our hearts

Twinkle , twinkle , twinkle

Little small stars

My Poem-- Joy (high school)

I open my eyes this morning, looking outside the house,

The sunshine deepens into the window,

The flowers are smiling, the trees extending their arms,

Looking up at the sky, the white sheep running with happiness,

Birds whisper, like jingle bells across the sky.

The streams surround the mountains,

Look, how joyful they are!

Children playing in the garden,

With their hearts leaping.

Sunrise, sunset,

Every beautiful story appears in our life,

Colourful clouds fill the sky.

Lying on my bed,

Staring up at the darkening sky,

Bright little eyes also twinkle,

And twinkle all through the night.

My Personal Statement (2009)

I first became interested in music, as a young child, when I saw an older girl playing her violin in a park in Shanghai.  I started learning the violin when I was about four years old.  At each grade, my results improved and at grades nine and ten I achieved the highest possible score.

As my skills developed, I secured a place at the Middle School affiliated to Shanghai Conservatory of Music in 2003, where I began studying standard violin and music theory.  Here there were many opportunities to perform and to attend master classes. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting students from other cultures and learning from the expertise of professional musicians.

Since I have been learning violin, I have had many performance opportunities.
In Autumn 2006, I won first prize in the Mozart Competition (Ceremony of Mozart's 250th Birthday).  Following this, I performed as a soloist with the whole school orchestra.  Also, in Summer 2006, I attended the 'Morningside Music Bridge' music course in Shanghai.

In 2007 I joined Chetham's School of Music where I am studying the violin with Mr. Repko.  In 2008 I won the school Concerto Competition and had performing with the school orchestra in both London and Manchester. Throughout my school life and my development as a musician, I have found that I like to research new ideas and am constantly inspired to try different things.

I love performing and reading biographies of the famous composers as well. Besides music, I am interested in the Arts: Ballet; Films; novel and poetry. I believe that musical language basically comes from nature and that its beauty is reflected in music. The Arts, Literature and Music can not be separated because they are influenced by each other. I hope one day to travel all over the world. In the meantime, my goal is to deepen my musical knowledge and thereby to continue to learn and develop during the next exciting stage of my life.
